Job Description
Data Analyst analyzes business needs, identifies improvement opportunities, translates it and implements data-driven solutions. They support decision-making, lead complex projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize business processes and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze client needs and challenges across diverse industries and business functions
- Assess existing systems and identify gaps relative to target requirements
- Design analytical data models
- Develop reports, dashboards and data solutions
- Analyze and develop SQL queries for the analysis and profiling of complex data
- Lead functional and business workshops
- Propose solutions and approaches that address client challenges, in coordination with technology teams
- Facilitate steering committees and working sessions involving key functional and technical stakeholders
- Design functional mockups that are visual, flexible, and user-friendly
- Work closely with various project stakeholders: architect, data engineer, business analyst, product owner, project manager, etc.
Candidate Profile
- Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Computer Science or a related field
- 4 to 8 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Consultant
- Proficient in visualization technologies and dashboard designing – Power BI/DAX
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with Cloud Technologies - Azure, GCP, GCP
- Strong understanding of the data lifecycle in decision-making processes
- Ability to independently understand and manage business requirements
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willing to travel frequently across the Middle East region
