Job Description 

The Sales Director is responsible for driving business development efforts, managing the full sales cycle, and providing strategic guidance during the presales phase. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and aligning client needs with our data, analytics, AI, and performance management offerings. The Director collaborates closely with technical and delivery teams to craft tailored solutions and ensure successful handover and execution of projects. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities in both public and private sectors 
  • Lead client engagement activities including discovery meetings, presentations, and proposal discussions 
  • Conduct in-depth needs analysis and position appropriate solutions aligned with client goals 
  • Coordinate and contribute to RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and commercial offers 
  • Deliver compelling service presentations during presales phases 
  • Work closely with delivery and technical teams to shape client solutions and ensure feasibility 
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and ensure consistent follow-up to close opportunities 
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring long-term satisfaction and account growth 
  • Represent the company at events, conferences, and industry forums 
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic insights to guide the go-to-market approach 
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials and case studies in coordination with marketing teams 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across architecture, project management, and leadership to drive deal success 

Candidate Profile 

  • Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field 
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and presales, ideally in the fields of data, analytics, business intelligence, or IT services 
  • Proven track record in managing end-to-end sales cycles and closing strategic deals 
  • Strong understanding of data platforms and analytics ecosystems (knowledge of partners such as Microsoft, Snowflake, Databricks is a plus) 
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills 
  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value 
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) 
  • Familiar with CRM tools and proposal management systems 
  • Autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented 
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence C-level stakeholders 
  • Willing to travel within UAE and Middle-East for projects
