A Successful First Group-Level Assessment

As part of its first EcoVadis assessment at group level, SBI has reached a major milestone by earning the Silver Medal with an outstanding score of 68/100. This distinction places SBI among the top 15% of the most CSR-performing companies, out of more than 100,000 organizations assessed in 175 countries. It reflects the Group’s ongoing commitment to an ambitious and concrete corporate social responsibility approach.

A Comprehensive and Rigorous CSR Assessment

The EcoVadis assessment is based on an in-depth and rigorous analysis of four fundamental pillars that underpin any effective CSR strategy.

• The first pillar focuses on environmental impact, evaluating our actions in waste management, energy efficiency, and impact reduction.

• The second examines our social practices and respect for human rights, including working conditions, skills development, and diversity.

• The third covers business ethics, analyzing our anti-corruption policies, fair practices, and governance frameworks.

• Finally, the fourth pillar evaluates responsible procurement, assessing our ability to integrate social and environmental criteria into supplier relationships.

This globally recognized methodology takes into account each company’s specific characteristics—such as size, location, and industry—ensuring a fair and relevant assessment. The criteria are regularly updated to reflect evolving CSR standards and expectations.

A Structured and Progressive CSR Journey

Our EcoVadis journey began in 2021, when SBI France underwent its first assessment. This initial step allowed us to structure our CSR approach and identify key areas for improvement. Over the years, we strengthened our practices, launched new initiatives, and engaged our entire workforce around these critical challenges.

In 2025, we took a major step forward by extending the assessment to the entire SBI Group. This strategic decision reflects our commitment to harmonizing CSR practices internationally and elevating our impact. Earning the Silver Medal on our first group-wide evaluation validates the relevance and maturity of our approach.
