Job Description
We are seeking a Data Analyst based in Dubai to support business intelligence and analytics projects across the GCC, particularly in Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on turning complex business needs into clear, data-driven insights through strong analytical modeling, robust SQL work, and impactful dashboarding. You’ll collaborate closely with technical teams and client stakeholders throughout project delivery, helping shape solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. Experience with Power BI and exposure to finance or insurance environments is a strong plus.
Location: Dubai, UAE (with regular travel across the GCC — mainly Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Abu Dhabi)
Project Focus: Business intelligence and analytics projects across multiple sectors. Experience in finance or insurance is an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze client needs and data challenges, and translate them into actionable insights.
- Design analytical data models and build reports and dashboards (Power BI, DAX).
- Write and analyze SQL queries for data profiling, validation, and transformation.
- Conduct business and functional workshops and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers and analysts to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions.
Candidate Profile
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–8 years’ experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI/DAX and SQL.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Experience in finance or insurance sectors preferred.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Based in Dubai and open to regular travel across the GCC (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Abu Dhabi, etc.).
